Per our annual tradition, I took my father out for his Father's Day dinner after a day at East Hampton, CT's town-wide annual Chatham Historical Society tag sale event.

Dad is a WWII veteran, a biker, and his mother loved cardinals.

Western Hemisphere omelet at Island Coffee Traders in East Hampton, CT. Dad has fried eggs and toast.

Dad's a regular at Island Coffee Roasters and has his own coaster there.

A couple of gophers on a lawn in East Hampton. There are more behind the house.

...even banks are having tag sales!

A garage where the owner restores cars.

Blueberry iced coffee at Island Coffee Traders again. Dad's having a BLT.

At Amici Italian Grill in Middletown, CT, where we went for dinner.

Coffee and salad with peppercorn dressing (just on the salad, not the coffee).

I had veal saltimbocca with mashed red potatoes. Dad had grilled marsala pork chops with sweet potato fries.
