LONDON 2012 organisers have claimed they are fully satisfied with their new ticket exchange website, which opened for business this morning.

TICKETS: London 2012's ticketing strategy has had its share of critics - with demand well outstripping supply and occassional technology problems on the website?
Those who bought tickets for the Games last year but no longer require them can sell seats at face value for the next month - and already some top-end tickets for sought after events, including the opening and closing ceremonies and athletics finals have come online and been quickly snapped up.
Some have reported issues with the website, claiming when they select tickets to buy and then attempt to check out and pay for them, they suddenly become unavailable.
But Locog and ticketing partner Ticketmaster - who claim demand has been steady - are happy with the functionality of their website.
"There is no issue with the system," said a spokesman.?
"If someone selects a ticket and then cannot purchase them it would be because someone else has selected those tickets at the same time and it has processed quicker. That's how most ticket systems operate.
"It's exactly the same system we've always used. There's been tickets sold already, across quite a wide range of sports."
