Ltd) and Rahul Commerce have joined hands to form Metaphor Studios, an animation production house catering to high- quality content creation. Metaphor, with its initial 25-team setup shall engage in creation of local animated Intellectual properties as well as servicing clients for overseas contracts and local ad films.

Speaking on the new development Deven Shah, Business Head of newly formed Metaphor Studios observes, ?We sense a great opportunity in the animation space. Typically the scenario mirrors the case of Mumbai in the mid-90s where there was no animation works done due to unavailability of skilled studios and manpower. The core team of Metaphor Studios comprises of the team leaders and ex-students of The Academy Of Animation Arts and Technology, Kolkata. The AAAT is a pioneering traditional animation training institute in Kolkata since 2003. All students after passing out from The AAAT are gainfully employed in different studios in Kolkata and elsewhere in India.

Metaphor is currently in the process of recruiting Classical Key animators, IB and CU artists and a Studio Head.
